Hi,

Are you getting any other error with ORA-00604. if not then you should go for metalink site.
becuase ORA-006XX better handle by Oracle Support.

I have the same problem, ora-00604 and ora-01009 when I try to connect from Forms builder (OS=Vista professional).

I istalled the server ora 10g and works fine on vista and also I installed Developer suite 10g and fomrs works fine but only the connection to the DB is not possible.

So please if there is someone who bypassed that could share his idea.

Thanks in advance
Best regards.

It's smelling more and more like an Oracle bug. What did your metalink search turn up ?

Nothing, my bro. and that why I am posting here. The only response is that forms ora 10g is not certified vista yet.

So, please if someone have succeeded on working with Forms ora 10g with Vista and specialy can connect to DB could share how did you overcome this.

Search for any trigger on logon.
If you are not the DBA ask your DBA.

Which part do you want more information?
Asking your DBA? I think you can pick upi the phone.
Finding logon triggers? If you are not a DBA I don't think you are able to find the useful information in Oracle dictionary assuming if you have privileges enough to search for.

Michel

I am administrator of my database Smile but I'm a student and I'm learning oracle, thats why I asked you for help to find those triggers.

Anyway, the problem is solved. I did install dev suit in version 10.1.2.0.2 and it works pretty fine wihtout any problems.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,
Wojtek.
